“Democracy is a form of government based upon the principle of majority rule, period, end of discussion,” explains G. Edward Griffin in the March 22, 2016 YouTube video titled, “This is the John Birch Society.” The fireside chat, originally produced in 1969, goes on to explain, “Now that’s not very complicated; majority rule. It’s easy to understand, easy to sell to the masses and I might add – deadly. For example, what would you call a lynch mob? That’s majority rule; there’s only one dissenting vote and he’s at the end of the rope. Now that’s pure democracy in action.
“Now wait a minute you say, the majority should rule, yes, but not to the extent of destroying the rights of the minority. And now ladies and gentlemen, we are no longer describing a democracy; we are speaking of a republic,” explains Griffin. “A republic is a limited democracy, it’s a form of government based upon the principle of limited majority rule – limited so that the minority, even a minority of one, can be protected against the whims and passions of the majority.
“And how do you protect the minority from the majority? You write down a set of rules on a piece of paper. You say, ‘this, we can do. That, we cannot.’ At the top of the paper, you write the word ‘Constitution.’ And then everyone agrees to follow the rules no matter what the temptation; and when you’re finished you have created a constitutional republic.”
With the devil being in the details, it’s easy to understand how so many Americans today are unable to differentiate between the two systems of governance – especially in light of the fact that the American people have been purposely misled and subverted from within in an effort to prepare the masses for world government.
“It takes from 15-20 years to demoralize a nation,” explains former KGB agent Yuri Bezmenov in his famed 1984 interview with G. Edward Griffin. “Why that many years? Because this is the minimum number of years which requires to educate one generation of students in the country of your enemy – exposed to the ideology of the enemy. In other words, Marxism-Leninism ideology is being pumped into the soft heads of at least three generations of American students without being challenged or counterbalanced by the basic values of Americanism, American patriotism.”
A topic covered at length here at the MMA Press Room, the basic American principles of liberty and freedom are increasingly being abandoned by the American people in favor of social justice and equality. The defining characteristics of America itself redefined by those with nefarious agendas in an effort to subvert the United States from within; achieving the end results of war without the traditional sacrifices associated with war.
“Perhaps the greatest success of Psychopolitics was getting the world to believe that communism had collapsed at the end of the 1980’s,” explains author Cornelia Ferreira in the June 4, 2015 VisionLiberty YouTube video titled, “Cornelia Ferreira: The Perestroika Deception Updated.”
“Yet, as I mentioned, Golitsyn had predicted most of the dramatic events in his 1984 book ‘New Lies for Old,’ and it has been given a 94% accuracy rating. He was trying to convince the West that this was all part of the plan for world government,” explains Ferreira. “In his 1995 book, ‘The Perestroika Deception,’ he demonstrates that perestroika was not a 1985 Gorbachev invention, but the final phase of a plan formulated during the years from 1958-1960. Perestroika means restructuring, but not just of the Soviet system but of the whole free-world.
“It’s the Soviet strategy for what it calls a second ‘October Revolution.’ It’s meant to be a temporary, temporary, that’s very important, a temporary non-violent world revolution involving controlled fake democratization and disinformation,” continues Ferreira. “And the plan is to use these two techniques to bring about the synthesis of communism and socialism with capitalism, a restructured capitalism, into the communist one world order.”
Two examples alone of perestroika or the restructuring of the West include the Trump administrations systematic dismantling of the United States government and the ideological subversion of multiple generations of Americans through the public education system. The concept of democracy, an idea equated by Lenin with socialism/communism; serving as one of the chief mechanisms through which this perestroika has been initiated.
“Congress member Becca Balint, I wanted to ask you about Rumeysa Ozturk – the graduate student at Tufts who was taken off the street as she was going to dinner by masked agents,” explains host Amy Goodman in a April 16, 2025 ‘Democracy Now!’ YouTube video titled, “Mohsen Mahdawi’s Abduction ‘Should Terrify’ Us All, Says VT Rep. Balint.”
“She even said to them, ‘I’m calling the police.’ They said, ‘We are the police,’" continues Goodman. “Also, interestingly, one of her lawyers said at a Liberation Seder outside of ICE headquarters in New York the other day, that she had told him that when the ICE agents surrounded her they said, ‘We are not monsters,’ one of them said. ‘We are not monsters. We are only following orders.’ Now she too was driven to Vermont and then flown away. Can you explain, since now the federal court in Vermont is taking on her case, what’s happening with Rumeysa?”
“Yes, and so it is deeply disturbing that she was so quickly flown away from our state – it’s difficult to obviously, to have oversight when, without any delay in her movement, we were not to able get the answers that we need,” explains Balint. “There is a lot that we don’t know about her case, so I don’t want to misspeak. What I do know is that any person who is in this situation needs to be absolutely clear that they have a right to due process.
“This is the piece that is getting lost here,” explains Balint. “This is the thing that my Republican colleagues will say; I had a colleague who used to be on the Judiciary Committee with me, her name is Rep. Victoria Spartz. She said in a town hall a few weeks ago, you know, that these folks that are here legally, if they are not residents, they are not entitled to due process. That’s absolutely not true; anyone who is within the borders of the United States (is) entitled to due process.
“And, so it is critically important that we as Americans, regardless of party, stand up for all of these students who are being detained. All of these professors and people who are simply speaking their minds,” warns Balint. “That this is not in accordance with what our government stands for and it is chilling to the bone to have somebody say, ‘We are just following orders.’ That is what they said in Nazi Germany – that is what people said when they were listening to the Gestapo. This has got to stop; this is Trump creating his own army of Brownshirts right here in our country.”
With the identity of what it means to be an American closely associated with our Constitution and the system of government outlined within, attempts to redefine our constitutional republic with authoritarian precepts rises to the standard of “high Crimes and Misdemeanors” as outlined in Article II, Section 4 of the United States Constitution pertaining to removal from office and impeachment. The dismantling of the United States government by the Trump administration and the ideological subversion of the public education system representing just two examples of perestroika or the restructuring of the West in preparation for world government and the collapse of Western civilization. Among their chief mechanisms for initiating this perestroika deception being the subtle, yet deadly nuances between a constitutional republic and a democracy; the latter of which is always “a form of government based upon the principle of majority rule, period, end of discussion.”
